APsmart RSD EYE PRO

The RSD-EYE-PRO is a small and lightweight multifunctional handheld detection device for sensing pulse modulation from the power line communication (PLC) signal between transmitter and RSD receivers, to ensure compliance with the SunSpec Alliance Rapid Shutdown protocol. RSD-EYE-PRO can also be used as a handheld transmission device, sending an online keep-alive signal to the RSD by meeting the RSD body. Used to measure whether the RSD function is normal and to troubleshoot fault points in the system.

KEY FEATURES:

• Transmit mode: transmit SunSpec PLC signals to turn on RSD receivers wirelessly.
• Detec mode: detect SunSpec PLC signals by placing it on the powerlines.
• Turn on RSD receivers locally to release power from this solar panel without powering on whole solar string, testing RSD receiver functionality.
• Troubleshoot APsmart RSD string effectively by testing each RSD receiver locally without separating it from the string.
• NOTE: Device must be powered by Lithium 9v Batteries (other batteries do not have enough current).
